/Time

Since I am getting older it seems like time is running faster day by day. Weeks go by so frequently that a month is not what it used to be anymore.
While I don’t want to be sad about it i occasionally do think about this changing over time. If I think about the holidays while in primary school or one year of school this took so much longer than any year after I turned 18. At least that’s how I feel like.

/Actively thinking about what to do

Because time seems to be rushing nonstop I am actively contemplating on what to use my time for. I am not living into the day anymore but rather trying to plan everything out. After years of trial and error I eventually found the method that works best for me. However I still don’t find nearly enough time to do everything I want to do. I just feel like I am always a little bit behind and loosing the sight of being ‘in time’ with everything I want to do. With this in mind I always struggle to not take shortcuts. However especially while learning I know that there are no real shortcuts.

/Learning takes time

During my last school years I always just read over my notes, kept them in my brain but never really applied what I had “learned”. However since university I drastically changed that. I always seek for projects, tasks or something where I can pour my knowledge into and make use of it - I just want to understand what it is for.

/Why did you just read this?

Well to be honest this is kind of like my personal space - I write whatever I think about and whenever I find the time to do so. But maybe somebody comes across this randomly and test-reads some posts and can relate.
Thanks for reading!
